So very little can make a huge difference.  80% of SFES Operational Costs are out of our own pockets.  Donations are used for feed and hay.  Every dollar makes a huge difference.

$60 buys a thousand pound round bale.

$23 buys a bag of feed

It takes 24 bags of feed a month and 12 round bales to keep everyone at their best.  For those who have low weight, we feed 3x per day instead of 2x .  We worm rotationally except for feral horses that get continuous worming.
Pay Pall also offers a monthly donation if you are interested in that.  See "Subscribe" button below.

when we met grace and her Yearling, both were starving.  grace was heavily in foal.  both were alone and ignored.

See the video below for the happy news!

Now Grace has a beautiful little filly and eats 14 pounds of grain daily.  As a lactating mare, she needs LOTs and we make sure she gets it.  She looks better every day.   Wayati (Faith in Cherokee) is adorable and loves to be petted, scratched and adored. See the video below for her at play.

Fabio and Lil'Girl ran wild in Lunenburg County for 4 years in spite of being seized by the courts.  They were on an 800 acre farm (not their owner's farm) and couldn't be caught.  They now live on Serenity Farm.  Fabio is a stallion and will be gelded.  Can you help us help them?

Building new pasture for those in need. When Grace foaled, we moved our permanent residents and while they no longer had access to their stalls, the loved the new 3 acres with shade trees!
